Haven't posted for a while....so here are some new ones. We had the opportunity to go down to the beach for a night...it was a blessed time. And a needed break. The kids had a blast and they take after their mama and papa...they love the shore. We miss it so much and were glad to caputure a piece of what it has to offer. Jonah is going to be 5 in May and Jessi will be 2 in July, it is so hard to believe just how much they have both grown. Our family is doing well and we are blessed in so many ways. Trying to keep our eyes up as we proceed down the path of life.

Well the summer is almost over and we can feel a slight dip in the temp. It was a hot one for sure...record setting. We were grateful to discover the local pool and had lots of fun there. Big sister Yasha came for a visit and that was a real blessing to see her. So we look forward to the fall and the cooler weather. The kids are growing up, Jessi is taking steps and Jonah is well...a Big Boy.

I'm 1 Now!!!
Well our little Jessi has turned 1...what a year! She is quite a chatter box, stands up by herself, of course is crawling and is commonly after her big brother and smiles all the time. It is just a matter of time before she is running. She is a delight and this family would not be the same without her...thanks everyone for all the well wishes, prayers and love. We miss so many of you, especially grandma and grandpa...so here she is, our girl Jessi Ann!

SUMMER IS HERE....
Well Jessi has had her first official dip in the pool as we enjoy the hot Texas summer weather. It is high 90's every day and the humidity is kicking in. Jessi loves splashing in the water and big brother is showing her the ropes. What a joy to see them together. So we will be swimming for a while as this hot weather will last a while...Mitch wants her to dip her feet in the river as big bro goes for a swim with pop...the next adventure.

I'm 4!
Well our boy is 4 years old. A baby no more. He is a big boy and thoughts of him as a baby are such a faint memory. Where oh where does the time go. We had lots of fun...a party with balloons and streamers and a chocolate Thomas Cake and then the next day we went to the zoo. We had a good time together as a family and as a mom it is a bit sad to know my baby is gone. But we embrace the changes, the learning and the growing. He is so smart and sweet and we are proud to call him our son.

A great visit.
Well we were blessed to see the Tylers this past week. It has been almost 3 years and needless to say the boys have grown. Eli is a little boy and not the baby I remember. We did alot of sightseeing and due to a weather issue their flight was delayed by 3 days...which for me was a real treat! We miss them already and hope to see them again real soon.
Then....

and now...

Grandma came to visit. We had a wonderful time. The week went fast and we are missing her already. These grandbabies are growing up so fast and each moment we have together is so precious. We made a trip into San Antonio and Jonah really loved "the city". What's there not to love, trolly cars, buses, cars and really tall buildings. We hope to be together again real soon.

Jessi Ann is 8 months old today...hard to believe how fast she is growing up. She is crawling...backwards...sits up and plays with her toys...watches Jonah like a hawk...loves to laugh...has 4 teeth and 4 more coming...is eating lots of food and is getting lots of hair (not that you can tell in the hippie hat). Oh and she has a boyfriend. A wee little irishman down the block who is the son of our sweet friends Dee and David...his name is Liam and he sent Jessi a valentiens day card. Will keep our eye on him...:) Anyway, we are so happy to have her and it is hard it imagine life before she was here. Jonah loves her like a big brother should and always wants to be with her. What an absolute joy...

The Beach
The Jaffuels got to go see the ocean, finally. We had a blast! The weather held out and we had some real good family time. Jonah and Mitch got much needed quality time as well as Mitch got to just hang out with his daughter. We missed the smell and sound of the water and we will for sure go back. It was a real blessing!
