Baby's first photo....

Well it's a baby...I'm not sure if you can see the little one but he/she is there. I had my first sonogram which was so comforting. I got to hear and see the heartbeat and see this little life move around...it's truly amazing and it brought tears to my eyes. So we have our first official photograph of our new addition...it is still quite overwhelming. God's miracle is just something.

Christmas time
Well the season is about the birth of our savior...we told Jonah it was Jesus's birthday but he kept on insisting that Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus under the tree were Papa, Mama and Jonah....it was too cute. Anyway, we had fun. We all did have colds so we were feeling a bit ragged but Jonah had no problem tearing thru all his presents. We hope you all had a Merry Christmas...and a Blessed New Year!

Well I haven't been on-line for a while and I wanted to post some random pictures I had. We were at a BBQ at Jason and Heathers for some friends of ours that were visiting and so all the boys got together which is always fun. Anyway, enjoy the photo's...I'll work on the Christmas ones!

Fall Weather
We are so enjoying the cooler temps. Being outside is such a joy and we try and get out as much as possible. We have a little color change, not too much but everything just seems so much softer. Anyway we really enjoy our park...the choo choo train is fun to just look at and we like walking along the choo choo tracks (when a train isn't coming of course). The ducks are usually always hungry and the landscape is just serene. Yeah Fall!!!

Do no merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. Mitch's Birthday!
We had a birthday bash at Jeremiah and Melissa's house for Mitch's birthday. All of our friends were there and we had the bonus of having Fred in Lorrie in town as well. We had lots of fun as usual and all the boys had great boy time! We ate Mexican food and cake and enjoyed being with each other. For Mitch it couldn't of been any better.

Labor Day
We had a great time at the Ray's house for Labor Day. As you can see the kids had a blast and it was real nice for us all to gather. It was a cooler day for Texas and it was a pleasant change. Fun for all of us...enjoy the pic's!

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvst if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. GAL 6:9-10

Our new pool....
Jonah had a blast in his new pool....and so did mom and pop. It is so refreshing to get into the water after being in the sun and heat. Jonah was beyond excited. So now we can relax in the water, splash, play games all the while looking out into our beautiful view. Fun!!

Gone are the long locks....
Well gone is the long hair that we loved so much but was just too warm. This place is downright hot and well our little guy was just way to sweaty with all his long hair, so as you will see these long locks got buzzed. He is so much happier. Everyone says he is a real Texan now (but he'll always be our little hippie).

Sunshine

Well here is the latest addition to the Jaffuel family...Sunshine! He found Mitch a couple of days ago and had decided after having a good bath, clean ears, some de-fleaing, lots of food and water and big love that he wants to stay. He is our official outdoor kitty. We've been wanting one and well here he is. Jonah loves him and Sunshine loves all of us. He follows us around and gives the big purrrr...he's a real sweetheart!
