Merry Christmas everyone. We had a great time this year celebrating the birth of our Savior. Jonah was aware that it was Jesus birthday and kept reminding me...he was also very aware that he would be opening presents and kept reminding us of that too. We were up at the crack of dawn and the fun began. Jonah had a real good time and Jessi was just in awe of all the entertainment. Then we got to relax and thankfully Mitch had a few days off. So we just hung out as a family and didn't do much of anything...it was perfect! A Blessed New Year to All!!

Yum Yum...we got to sit in the high chair and have our first real food. It went pretty well for a first try. Jessi seems to like being up with all of us and she sits pretty good. We have her propped a bit but she is getting the hang of it. She is just growing up way to fast and we just can't seem to slow time down...

Grandma and grandpa were here and boy did we have fun. It was such a joy having them here. The time flew and we miss them already. Jonah was in heaven & Jessi was her usual happy self. Come back...come back..

Jessi Ann...she is growing up so fast. (4 months old already) We are so blessed to have this angel in our lives. She is happy and smiling all the time and has just been a love with grandma and grandpa visiting. She brightens even the darkest day and we just don't know what we did to deserve such a bright light. Words just cannot describe how thankful we are.

Grandma and grandpa are here visiting and we are having fun. Jonah is just in heaven with all this great love and grandpa is just his new best friend. Jessi is her usual smiling self...how blessed for us all....

3 months old and I am rolling over now...here I go!

The Zoo!
Well we got to see the San Antonio Zoo. Nice, easy to get around and they had some real fun stuff for Jonah to play with. It was a fun day and Jonah was sooooo excited...Jessi...could care less. But we all had fun. And with the weather cooling down we can actually be outside and not pass out! Yipee!

Yasha's Visit....
Well we just had a real nice visit by Mitch's daughter Yasha. She only got to spend a couple of days but we made the most of it. We took lots of pictures, went to the park, the river and just spent time together. Yasha is quite a big sister to Jonah and Jessi. Jonah just loved having her around and was always asking for her. Jessi of course did not seem to notice but was her usual, happy smiling self. Jonah and Mitch dropped her off at the airport and I heard the highlight was the escalator...apparently they rode it 10 times. Gotta love being 3!

2 Months Old

Well our chunky monkey had her 2 month appt. She is healthy and doing great. She weighed in at almost 15 lbs...quite off the charts but no worries says the doctor, she just seems to enjoy mama's milk. She is such a happy baby but never gives me one of those Jessi smiles for the camera...I'll have to sneak up on her. She is real good and of course we just love her to pieces. Jonah sometimes has converations with her and will do her voice in response (which is a higher pitch). It will be fun to see them one day play together...but not yet...I want to enjoy every moment.

Here are a couple of pictures of the Jaffuel children. Jonah is doing real well with his sister...sometimes he doesn't quite know what to do with her but he really is growing close to her. Jessi is always looking at him and I have a feeling Jonah will be her entertainment for a while. Jonah is quite animated and loves to "perform". I think Jessi may be a bit stunned sometimes as you can see in the bottom picture but hopefully will mostly just be content with her big brother like in the first picture. As a mom it is so satisfying to know that they will always have each other.
