Sunshine

Well here is the latest addition to the Jaffuel family...Sunshine! He found Mitch a couple of days ago and had decided after having a good bath, clean ears, some de-fleaing, lots of food and water and big love that he wants to stay. He is our official outdoor kitty. We've been wanting one and well here he is. Jonah loves him and Sunshine loves all of us. He follows us around and gives the big purrrr...he's a real sweetheart!

Landa Park

Had a grand time at the park...lots to see and do...check it out! We fed the ducks, played with Noah, saw the little choo choo train and played on the swings and slide. There is so much to do there and it's very big. There is a real nice small river that runs thru that you can wade in...which is nice. It was great to just get out and have fun!

Our Texas house:

Well we are enjoying our new home. Jonah has been helping me bake and learn to help around the house. We are "camping out" in the living room as we await a couch to sit on. Jonah loves all the space to play in. Still lots of rain but we don't mind. We are having fun in Texas!

Our new home

Well here we are at our new place. It's on 10 acres and there is plenty of run around space for Jonah. We are getting adjusted and still unpacking. There is plenty to do. Jonah has had so much fun running around and playing at his new home...we call it Jonah's house. He has gotten to know Noah and Matthew, Josiah and baby Joshua. He is real happy to have new friends. The weather has taken some getting used to...it's been real humid and we have seen lots of thunderstorms...very cool. Mitch is working right up the road from our home which is a real blessing. Our brothers and sisters here have been so supportive and we hope we haven't driven anyone crazy just yet. So we will keep ya updated as things progress...the Jaffuel Texans!

The Jaffuels are headed for Texas

Well we are heading down south believe it or not. Our family will be joining our friends Jason and Heather and Jeremiah and Melissa in the town of New Braunfels, TX which is right outside of San Antonio. We ar looking forward to our new life but are very sad to leave my family. The Lord has directed us to go and so we go. Mitch will be driving out next Sunday and Jonah and I will be flying out the following Saturday (6/30). We will be staying with Jason's parents until we can find a house. We thank everyone for their prayers and ask that you continue to pray for us along the way. Jonah will have new buddies to play with and well some adjusting to do. With the love I know we will receive I am sure the transition will be fine. We know we are on God's path and he is directing our steps...it's a leap of faith that we know He wants us to take.

Jonah and Joseph spend quite a bit of time together and have become good friends. I have known Joseph's dad ever since I was a little girl so it's been real neat to see our boys play together. They have learned how to actually "play" together and it's been such a blast to watch them grow.

The Farm
We got to go to the farm today...the weather has been great! We saw and fed the animals, played on the slides and sandbox, climbed on the wooden buses, and trucks and tractors and choo choo train. There was so much to do and we had lots and lots of fun. We love spring!!! Yipee!!

The Beach

We got some beach time in...we set up a tent and enjoyed the peace and quiet of an empty beach. The weather is still staying on the cool side...looking forward to a little bit more heat. As long as we can get outside, we are happy!

The Aquarium

We had fun last week at the local aquarium. So many beesh (that's fish in adult talk) to see. Jonah really loved the shark tank...we even had the theme from jaws playing in the backround. So many cool wonders to see and as you'll notice his pop loves to show him everything. Those two are quite a pair....

The last of the winter....

Well we are hoping this is the last of the winter weather...we had quite the storm. It was quite icy but soon started melting so Jonah and Mitch were able to make Jonah's first snowman. It was quite exciting and Jonah was very proud. Then Mitch got to buzz him around in his sled for a while. Monday is supposed to be up into the 50's so bye bye snow...we're headed for the park!

Hi everyone, here is a bunch of photo's from the past few weeks. The weather has gotten warmer (thankfully) and we have been real busy.
